Pod Borićima Stadion

Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The name comes from the trees: Stadion pod Borićima and locals in Bihać often just call it the Gradski stadion, the town ground. No sponsor has ever been attached to it, and the official name has not changed since it opened in 1969.

What the ground has mostly done is shrink. The work came in bursts — a round of building in 1999, then a long gap of some 26 years before the stands were touched again in 2019, and a further pass in 2025 that replaced the older seats and went over both the running track and the pitch.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's cup finals have never come here — those are played on neutral grounds of greater capacity in Zenica, Sarajevo and Mostar.

The senior national team came once. On 22 July 2001, Bosnia and Herzegovina met Iran in a friendly at Pod Borićima and the match finished 2-2. No major concerts have been staged on the site.
