The complex was not built all at once. The main pitch has existed since 1960, though the exact date of the stadium's opening remains obscured by incomplete records. The covered stand arrived later, following a period of reconstruction that modernised the viewing areas. The auxiliary fields, equipped with artificial surfaces, were added to the site more recently, around 2009, to accommodate training sessions when the main grass pitch is unavailable.
