The PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf is not a football ground, and it does not pretend to be one. It is an indoor arena built for a different kind of crowd.
It sits on concrete, and on top of that you can have parquet, ice, or PVC. The surface for ice hockey is 13,102 seats, but the room can take 15,151 people when the floor is full for a concert. It has hosted everything from the Rocket League World Championship to the 2025 Summer World University Games, and it has taken on the NHL Global Series games that will bring the Ottawa Senators to the city.
The arena opened in 2006 as the ISS Dome, and it kept that name until 2021. The lighting was upgraded to LED, the hospitality areas were modernised, and the capacity for concerts was pushed up.
