Riisvangen Stadion

The German occupation left its mark on the ground at Hans Egedes Vej. Built on the initiative of Aarhus Municipality across the second half of the 1930s, Riisvangen Stadion was requisitioned during the Second World War, and the occupying forces dug up one of the pitches to lay concrete foundations for cannon and to sink underground barracks beneath it. The Annexhallen went up on the western side in the early 1950s, once the repairs were behind them.

Aarhus Fremad moved in the same year and have stayed since.

The most recent change to the stands came from the supporters themselves: a wooden stand raised in 2018 and paid for through a crowdfunding campaign run by the fan association, opened under the name Fremad Folket and renamed Faxe Kondi Tribunen in October 2019 after a sponsorship agreement with Royal Unibrew.

The attendance record dates from the autumn of 2022, when 3,892 watched a Danish Cup tie in which Aarhus Fremad beat Brøndby IF 4-0. The previous mark, 3,200, had stood since a Superliga match against Ikast fS on 2 November 1997. Kim Larsen & Kjukken played the ground on 1 July 2017.

Another rebuild is due to start in October 2026, with the club playing in Silkeborg while the work goes on.
