Ringsted-Hallen

The complex has grown around the original structure. A swimming pool was added later, and a new corridor was built to tie the halls together, but the main arena remains the anchor. It is owned by the municipality, which has kept control of the project through every phase. The primary tenant is TMS Ringsted, a handball club whose men’s team plays in the highest domestic league and the women’s side in the first division. The fixtures are scheduled around the club’s needs.

The setting is quiet on matchdays. It is a place where the game is played, and where the local community gathers.
