Sportclub Arena

The name on the ground changed before the club did. Until July 2016 it was Stadion an der Poststraße . The rebuild finished that summer, and at the opening ceremony on 15 July the place was handed the name Sportclub Arena .

What sits at Poststraße 22 is a ground that opened in 1994 and has been worked on since rather than replaced. The most recent change was underneath: in the summer of 2023 the pitch came out and a hybrid surface went in, the heiler Sporthybrid R system.

SC Verl play here, in the 3. Liga , which is the fact that explains the rest. A town of Verl's size supporting third-tier football means a ground built to third-tier requirements and no larger — and the club's own website is where you go for it, because the arena has no site of its own.
