Sporthal de Vijfkamp is not a cathedral of sport. The name points to its location and its history as a hub for five disciplines. It is owned by the municipality and designed by Spierings & Swart Architectenbureau.

The hall itself is functional. The primary tenant is DSC, a korfbal club that plays in the second tier of the league, and PSV Handbal, which brings Eredivisie games and relegation play-offs to the venue. The space is not vast; fixed seating accommodates 375, but for a major match, the configuration can be shifted to hold roughly 800 spectators.
