Sportpark Elinkwijk The complex has changed hands and names, but the location has remained fixed since 1951. The ground is no longer grass; the pitch is artificial turf, laid down as part of the complete reconstruction that began in early 2024. The old clubhouse and the natural surface were demolished to make way for a new energy-efficient building, designed by Van Hoogevest Architecten, which now runs along the touchline.

Floodlights stand tall around the perimeter, ensuring the players can see the ball when the sun goes down. The seating is modest: terracing on three sides and a covered grandstand on the west side. It provides room for 5,000 spectators, a capacity that has stood since the rebuild. The facility officially reopened on July 5, 2025, after months of construction work.

The ground has hosted many years of football, from the professional era of the mid-twentieth century to today’s amateur matches. It is the home of USV Elinkwijk, an amateur club founded in 1919. The team played here during their professional years, and the stadium still feels connected to that history. It was also the training ground for Dutch legends like Marco van Basten and Gerald Vanenburg in their youth. Van Basten played for the club from 1980 to 1981, while Vanenburg was there in 1979. The stadium fell silent during the renovation, but now it is ready for the next season.
