Sportplatz Hafenareal (EC TECHNIK REMU Arena)
Kreuzlingen, Switzerland
Formerly: BEMIX-Arena
Along Kreuzlingen's harbour front, the pitch at Sportplatz Hafenareal sits close enough to Lake Constance. FC Kreuzlingen have played here on and off since 1962, though the club spent nine years away at the Burgerfeld ground before returning to the harbour site in 2006.
What keeps the ground modest and functional rather than grand is its size — 1,200 capacity, split between 200 seats and standing room for the rest. The club has kept it current in stages rather than one overhaul: a new clubhouse went up in 2007, a 126-seat stand opened in May 2011, and floodlights along with extra standing terraces on the north and south sides were added in 2023.
There is no history here of hosting national team fixtures or cup finals — this is a ground built for the rhythm of regional football, where FC Kreuzlingen work through 1. Liga Classic and Promotion League seasons.
