Capacity figures vary between sources, so the 8,100 number is left out. What is certain is that the ground hosted a Belgian Cup Round of 16 match against RSC Anderlecht in October 2024.
The name honours Edmond Leburton, a Belgian socialist politician and former Prime Minister, but the building itself has lived through softer history. A major renovation took place in 2005, with further upgrades completed in 2008 to meet the standards of the Belgian Pro League following AFC Tubize's promotion. The club traces its roots to 1953, though the current structure dates to around 1971.
