Stade Pierre-Fabre
Castres, France
Formerly: Stade Pierre-Antoine
The name was adopted in September 2017, replacing the previous **Stade Pierre-Antoine**, a title that honoured the club's captain who died after a match in 1959. The change came a few years after the pharmaceutical magnate Pierre Fabre died in 2013, having owned the club since 1988.
The ground opened in October 1907 in the Bisséous neighborhood of Castres. The West Stand, the Tribune Francis-Rui, was extended in August 2017 with a second floor, adding 1,300 seats and raising the total capacity to 12,500. A new North stand followed in 2005, and the South stand was rebuilt in 2008.
On the pitch, the surface is hybrid grass, a mix of natural blades and synthetic fibres installed in the summer of 2022. The stadium hosts Castres Olympique, who play in the Top 14. A match against Romania in June 1999 ended 62-8.
