On June 24, 2022, the ground was renamed to honour Jozef Straka Sr., the club chairman who served for half a century. His name is now etched onto the main stand, marking a shift from its previous identities as Športový areál Dunajská Lužná and NTC Dunajská Lužná. The renaming was not a marketing exercise but a recognition of a man who kept the lights on when funding dried up. Before that, the club played on a waterlogged field in the "Jama" area, a patch of land that flooded regularly. The move to the current site at Športová 740 was a liberation from the mud.

Today, the stadium serves multiple masters. It hosts matches for OFK Dunajská Lužná and occasionally acts as a home for Inter Bratislava’s third-division team. Beyond football, it is a community hub. Local concerts, including performances by Slovak hip-hop artists, take place under the floodlights, and traditional events like the "Stavanie mája" (Maypole raising) are held on the paved areas surrounding the pitch. There is no official attendance record kept here. A recent match report noted a crowd of 93, a figure that tells you more about the town than the team.
