The pitch at Luke sits on ground that two men picked out by hand. Sejd Hodžić and Omer Smailbegović pushed for a proper football ground in Tešanj.
What paid for it says as much about the town as the ground itself. The money came partly from the self-managing community of interest for culture and physical culture — the standard funding channel of the day — and partly straight from two Tešanj factories, the pump and hydraulics works and the filter plant.
The ground opened in 1961 and has been home to NK TOŠK Tešanj ever since. Seven thousand is a figure that means something in a town this size.
