The surface is natural grass, kept even by the under-soil heating system installed when the ground opened in 2011.

The old facility, known as Stadion KS Wigry, used to host athletics before it was torn down for this one. The numbers still argue about what fits inside the gates. Some accounts put the seated capacity at 3,060, others at 2,910, and there is no value left at the larger figures that once counted standing room. The only record anyone trusts is the one set in the 1970s: 5,500 watching a Polish Cup match against Legia Warszawa.

The guest sector took a while to finish, arriving in early 2012 after the home end was already in use. SKS Wigry Suwałki call this place their home now, and the club has hosted international youth matches here, including games against Latvia and Portugal. The municipal sports centre runs the venue, and on quieter days it hosts local tournaments and pageant finals. The ground is modest, but the view from the stand is clear, and the pitch holds its shape when the wind picks up.
