The Bauvill Stadium sits on Maidstone Road in Chatham, Kent. The most striking feature is the pitch itself: a sheet of artificial turf installed in 2019 that replaced the natural grass. A small pavilion stands at one end.

The ground has been the home of Chatham Town F.C. since 1889, though the club first moved here after reaching the FA Cup quarter-finals and needing a venue where they could charge admission. George Winch, the landowner, allowed them to enclose the site and build a pavilion for £125. The club has never left, even as the ground changed name from 'The Sports Ground' to The Bauvill Stadium following a sponsorship deal with a local construction company.

Capacity is modest, with 500 seats and 2,500 standing spaces. The official record is 3,000 spectators, set on 2 May 2024 during an Isthmian League Premier Division Play-off Semi-final against Horsham. The match ended 1-1 after extra time, with Chatham winning 4-3 on penalties. Manager Kevin Hake described the crowd as an attendance record. Nothing more is added.
