Truist Point Stadium

The only reason to visit downtown High Point is to watch a game at Truist Point Stadium. The ground itself is the reason.

Since it opened in 2019, the park has hosted the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, and more recently the Carolina Core FC, who play in the MLS NEXT Pro. The attendance figures for the Core FC have been strong, with matches drawing crowds that fill the blue seats, but the baseball history here is still being written, with recent games against the York Revolution drawing significant numbers.

Visitors will notice the large screen behind home plate, a black slab against the sky, which broadcasts replays to those seated in the upper rows. The atmosphere is not that of a major league temple, but the fans are loyal, and they have nothing to lose when the team is losing. The stadium also hosts concerts and wrestling events, but the baseball games are the anchor.
