The stand at Tukuma pilsētas stadions is defined by its roof. Before the changes, the venue was known widely by the name of its district, Lauktehnikas stadions , a title that stuck even after the work was completed. Athletics competitions still take place on this perimeter, alongside the matches hosted by FK Tukums 2000 .

The ground sits quietly in the Lauktehnika microdistrict, far from the large venues in the capital. It does not play host to the Latvian Higher League finals or the major cup deciders, which are reserved for Riga. Instead, it holds local fixtures and smaller cup ties. The capacity is a matter of interpretation; some sources suggest a space for 1,000, while others point to a much smaller figure. The uncertainty does not change the feel of the place.
