Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan
Kolkata, India
Formerly: Salt Lake Stadium, Yuba Bharati Krirangan
The ground stands flat in the Salt Lake City district. That capacity has drifted down to 68,000 as safety rules tightened for the modern game. The pitch itself is Riviera Bermuda grass, a surface installed during the 2015–2016 renovation that cost the state more than ₹100 crore. Before that, the ground dallied on artificial turf for four years.
Mohun Bagan and East Bengal both call this place home, continuing to fuel the Kolkata Derby. The official attendance record of 131,781 dates back to a 1997 semi-final between those two rivals, a match East Bengal won 4–1. Since the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, the stadium has hosted the likes of Argentina and Oliver Kahn, though the crowd control in December 2025 was left exposed during Messi’s visit.
