Volvo Sporta Centrs
Riga, Latvia
The complex sits in the Imanta area, positioned between the Imanta and Zolitūde districts within the Kurzemes borough.
HK Prizma Rīga calls this place home. The team moved in when the doors opened in the summer of 2005, and they have remained there ever since. The main arena inside holds a thousand people in seats, with another four hundred and fifty standing spots.
The building does not carry the weight of international championships. While the city hosts the larger tournaments at the Olympic Sports Centre, this venue stays quieter, focused on the local league and the figure skating events that pass through in winter.
The structure was built by SIA Prizma and opened in November of that same year. It has not been renamed or rebuilt since.
