Yıldız Entegre Kocaeli Stadyumu

The ground at Alikahya sits away from the old centre of Izmit, on land that took four years to build on: work started in 2014 and the doors did not open until the first of September 2018. What Kocaelispor gained in that time was a bowl that holds a little under 35,000.

The name has moved more than the building has. It began simply as Kocaeli Stadyumu . In August 2023 a deal with the timber and panel manufacturer Yıldız Entegre put the sponsor's name on the front; that contract was ended late in 2024, and from October 2025 the ground has carried the name of a vehicle inspection company, Turka Araç Muayene .

The first match was against Fatsa Belediyespor, played in front of a crowd for a club then some way down the Turkish pyramid. On 9 November 2025, with Kocaelispor back in the Trendyol Süper Lig and Galatasaray the visitors, 32,037 came through the turnstiles — the record, and close to the ceiling of what the ground can take.

Turkey's national sides have used it too. That was a return of sorts to the city rather than to the ground — Turkey had last played in Izmit in 2008, at the old İsmetpaşa stadium.
