DD Elektromont Aréna sits in Vrchlabí, Czech Republic. The sign says DD Elektromont Aréna in red letters on the roof, which is how the venue is listed in match reports since at least 2008. The name was not there in 1977, when the covered stadium was opened as part of 'Akce Z' (Action Z), a local project to replace the open-air rink the club had used since it was founded in 1948.

The interior is natural ice, kept frozen by refrigeration systems. The roofing was not completed until October 2002, after a decision was made in 2000 and local political support secured by then-Mayor Jan Sobotka. The capacity is given as 1,976 in the Czech Wikipedia article for the home club, HC Stadion Vrchlabí, while the city website lists 1,200 — likely a fire-code limit rather than a structural one. The club plays in the 2. liga, the third tier of Czech ice hockey, and won the league in 2007 and again in 2020, each time moving up to the 1. liga.

The arena also hosts figure skating schools and cultural events. A concert by the Czech singer Michal David took place here on 13 September 2013.
