Eldar Ćivić

Eldar Ćivić left Ferencváros in 2025 having won the Hungarian league every season he was there. Six consecutive Nemzeti Bajnokság I titles, from 2019–20 to 2024–25, came in his six years in Budapest, along with the Magyar Kupa in 2021–22. The left-footed defender arrived from Sparta Prague for €1,000,000.

He came to the Ferencváros job by way of the Czech Republic. He started in the youth system of Sloboda in his home city of Tuzla, then moved to 1. FC Slovácko, where he made his professional debut in 2015. Sparta Prague paid €800,000 for him in 2017. Sparta sent him on loan to Spartak Trnava in 2018, and he won the Slovak Super Liga with the club.

His international career began during that loan. Bosnia and Herzegovina handed him a debut on 1 June 2018 against South Korea. His first goal for the national team came on 18 November 2019, against Liechtenstein in a Euro 2020 qualifier. He has 28 caps and one goal. Before the senior side, he captained the Bosnia and Herzegovina under-21 team and won 13 caps at that level.

Europe brought a sharper moment in September 2022, when he was sent off in a UEFA Europa League match against Trabzonspor.

In July 2025 he joined Baltika of Kaliningrad on a free transfer, taking his career into the Russian Premier League for the first time.
