Erol Erol Dost

Erol Dost arrived at Lokomotiv Sofia in the summer of 2025 on a free transfer, his contract at Krumovgrad having run out. He signed on 13 June, and in February 2026 the club extended his deal until 30 June 2027.

Dost's route to Sofia began in Plovdiv, where he started out in the youth ranks of Lokomotiv, before a move to Ludogorets Razgrad in 2015. He came through the academy there and spent three years with the second team, making 71 appearances and scoring four goals. He also played three times for the senior side and scored once. A loan at Etar Veliko Tarnovo in 2019–20 brought five appearances.

His longest spell came at Slavia Sofia, whom he joined in 2021. Over three seasons he played 101 matches and scored four goals, and he became a key member of the side. In 2024 he moved to Krumovgrad, where he played 31 times and scored once in 2024–25.

At Lokomotiv he has played 33 league matches and scored four goals. He has also scored once in the Bulgarian Cup.

Dost played for Bulgaria at youth level: six times for the under-18s in 2016 and 2017, and twice for the under-19s the following season. He has yet to make his senior debut for the national team.
