About the player
At 1.90 m, Emmanuel Okereke fits the classic profile of a centre-back. Born in Lagos, he came through the youth ranks at Willbros FC before his move abroad, with no senior appearances on record at the club.
His path led to Finland in January 2024, when he signed a two-year contract with IFK Mariehamn in the Veikkausliiga. He made his debut for the club in the Finnish League Cup that same month, and alongside his senior involvement he also featured for IFK Mariehamn II in the Kolmonen, the Finnish third tier, in 2024.
