Enes Yilmaz

Enes Yılmaz was born in Cologne and built his early career in German youth football before switching to Turkish colours. He came up through Vogelheimer SV, then joined Bayer Leverkusen's academy, where he progressed to the club's Under-19 side. With Leverkusen's youth team he won the DFB Youth Cup, appearing three times and scoring once in that campaign, and also featured regularly in the Bundesliga's Under-19 division, where he made 29 appearances and scored three goals over two seasons.

In January 2024 Yılmaz left Germany for Italy, joining Lecce's Primavera side. He settled quickly into the Under-19 setup there, making 14 appearances and scoring three goals in the 2024/25 season. That spell in Lecce's youth ranks marked his first experience outside German football and preceded his move into senior football in Turkey.

In February 2026 Yılmaz signed for Keçiörengücü, joining the Turkish club's midfield ranks. The switch brought him to senior football for the first time after several years developing exclusively at youth level in Germany and Italy. He plays with both feet, a trait that has been noted alongside his technical development through the various academies he passed through.

Yılmaz holds Turkish citizenship, despite having been born and raised through the German youth system, and represents Turkey in international contexts. He has not yet featured for the senior national team, and his move to Keçiörengücü represents the next step as he looks to establish himself in senior competition after a youth career spent between two of Europe's more prominent development systems.
