About the player
Faustas Steponavičius made his senior debut for FK Panevėžys in 2019, having come through the club's youth academy. In July 2022, following a trial, he moved to Genoa in Italy. Loan spells followed at NK Jarun in Croatia and then at FK Tukums 2000 in Latvia, where he scored eight goals in 15 matches for the Latvian side.
In June 2023, FK RFS sold his rights to Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv for a fee of €200,000. While registered with the Bulgarian club, he was sent out on loan twice more, first to Septemvri Sofia and then back to FK Panevėžys in 2025, where he won the Lithuanian Cup. In January 2026, he joined FK Sūduva on loan.
Steponavičius wears number 14 at FK Sūduva and number 9 when playing for FK Panevėžys. Internationally, he has earned two caps for Lithuania. He was part of the squad at the 2026 Baltic Cup, featuring in the semi-final against Latvia, which finished 1-1, and in the final against Estonia, which Lithuania won 1-0.
