Zh. Alphonse

Alphonse spent his early youth football at FC Anjou before moving into the CF Montréal academy, and a pre-season invitation with the first team in 2023 came without a contract attached. His path to professional football ran instead through Quebec's provincial league: thirteen appearances for CF Montréal's under-23 side in the Première ligue de soccer du Québec in 2022, followed by a move to CS St-Laurent, where he made nine league appearances in Ligue1 Québec and added three in the Canadian Championship.

A trial with Cavalry FC in 2024 did not lead to a signing, but HFX Wanderers FC handed him a professional contract that June for the rest of the season, with club options attached for the following two years. He made his debut for the Wanderers on 1 July 2024. The move from CS St-Laurent came as a free transfer. HFX Wanderers exercised his option for the 2026 season in January of that year.

Internationally, Alphonse has represented Canada at under-20 level, earning three caps in 2022 and featuring at that year's CONCACAF U-20 Championship. He has not yet been capped by the senior national team.
