About the player
Lorik Kaba Jakupi came through the Shkëndija academy in Tetovo, spending a season with the U19 side before earning a place in the senior squad for the 2022–23 campaign. He stayed at the club through the 2025–26 season, a stretch that brought the biggest achievements of his young career so far.
Jakupi was part of the Shkëndija squad that won the Macedonian First League title in 2024–25, with the club finishing on 70 points for its fifth national championship. He also featured in European qualifiers the following season, as Shkëndija reached the Conference League group stage for the first time in its history, a run built on qualifying ties in the Champions League and Conference League. Appearance and goal figures for that title-winning league campaign vary depending on the source, but his involvement in the European run is well documented.
At international level, Jakupi has represented North Macedonia at youth level, collecting caps for the U18 and U19 teams and scoring for the U19 side. He has not featured for the senior national team.
In July 2026, Jakupi left Shkëndija for FK Arsimi Čegrane, a move made without a disclosed transfer fee.
