Lorik Konjuhi

Lorik Konjuhi's route to Superettan football ran through the Malmö grassroots system rather than a big academy. He came up through Kulladals FF, Husie IF and IFK Malmö before Malmö FF took him into their U19 side in 2019, where he stayed for two seasons.

The breakthrough into senior football came with BK Olympic, whom he joined on a free transfer in February 2022. He spent three seasons as a regular in their squad in Ettan, Sweden's third tier, before signing for IK Brage in January 2025 on a contract running to the end of 2027.

Konjuhi's background sits between two countries. Swedish Wikipedia and Soccer Base list his birthplace as Albania, while Worldfootball.net gives Sweden; he was raised in the Malmö area and has been described in the media as Swedish-Albanian, with Transfermarkt noting Albanian citizenship. That dual background carried into his representative career: he was called up to Albania's U21 squads for Euro 2023 qualifying, though he did not make an appearance for the side and remains without senior caps for either Albania or Sweden.

Standing 186 cm tall, he now plays for Brage in the Superettan, having made the step up from Sweden's lower divisions after his spell at BK Olympic.
