M. Winter

Marlon Winter scored on his 2. Liga debut. Introduced as a substitute against SK Sturm Graz II in August 2026, he got his first professional goal in a 4-0 win for First Vienna FC.

His route to Vienna ran through Austrian youth football and a stretch in Germany. He started at SV Maria Gail, and moved through SV Wernberg and Villacher SV before a short spell at DSG Ledenitzen. In September 2016 he joined the FC Red Bull Salzburg academy. He left in January 2019 for a brief period at Salzburger AK 1914, then went to the youth setup of SpVgg Unterhaching for the 2019/20 season and stayed until February 2023.

The move back to Austria came at a lower level. Winter rejoined DSG Ledenitzen as a free agent and played 15 matches in the 1. Klasse B, scoring six goals. That is a notable return for a defender, and it was the start of his senior career.

In January 2024 he moved to ATUS Velden of the Kärntner Liga. He played 55 senior matches for the club and scored twice. Velden won the league title and earned promotion to the Regionalliga Mitte for the 2025/26 season. He stayed with the club into 2026 before signing for First Vienna as a free agent in July.

Winter is a German citizen. He plays mainly at left-back, and his left foot suits that side of the pitch. He has not represented any national team.
