Nathan Charles Kaninda

Nathan Kaninda came through the France youth ranks before making his way abroad. He started out at AFC Creil, moved into the AS Nancy academy in 2019 and spent time with Nancy's reserve side, where he scored twice in 14 appearances. He left for the Netherlands in February 2024, joining Fortuna Sittard's Under-21 squad on a free transfer.

The move that put him on De Graafschap's books came a year later, in January 2025, when he again switched clubs for nothing, this time to the club's Under-21 side. He wasted little time making an impression there, scoring 8 goals in 14 matches over the winter of 2024/25, and made his senior debut for De Graafschap on 20 January 2025 against Jong FC Utrecht. He earned a first professional contract in July 2025, a one-year deal with a club option for a second.

His first goal as a professional came on 14 March 2026, in a 2–1 win over FC Dordrecht. Across the 2025/26 season he made 20 appearances for De Graafschap, scoring 3 goals and adding 3 assists. He has continued to feature in the early stages of the following campaign. Kaninda has represented France at youth level, though his path to the professional game has run entirely through the Netherlands since leaving Nancy.
