N. Pollux

Niklas Pollex is the grandson of Dietrich Pollex, and his own path to senior football ran through the lower tiers of Baden-Württemberg. He came up through SV Fellbach's youth ranks before joining SGV Freiberg, where he spent two separate spells either side of a season with Stuttgarter Kickers II.

After leaving Freiberg for good in 2020, he moved on free transfers first to TSG Backnang and then back to SV Fellbach, building a scoring record in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg that reached 21 goals in 158 league appearances across those clubs. That output as an attacking midfielder eventually took him to SG Sonnenhof Großaspach on a free transfer. He was part of the side that won the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg and later the Regionalliga Südwest, the latter title bringing promotion to the 3. Liga. He has also won the Württemberg Cup twice with Großaspach, a competition that carries a place in the DFB-Pokal for the winner.

He announced himself at Großaspach in style, scoring twice against TSV Heimerdingen in the WFV-Pokal in July 2024. Pollex is comfortable on either foot, a trait that has suited his role in midfield as he has moved up from regional football into the third tier alongside the club he now represents.
