About the player
Oscar Uddenäs came through Malmö FF's academy, having joined the club as a boy in 2010 after starting out at GIF Nike, but it was a move abroad that tested him first: in 2019 he left for Italy's S.P.A.L. for a season before returning home to Sweden. That return, to IFK Värnamo, proved decisive. He scored seven goals in 27 appearances there and helped the club climb from the Ettan to the Superettan and on into the Allsvenskan, winning both championships along the way.
The form carried him to BK Häcken, where he scored eight goals in 38 appearances and was part of the squad that were crowned Allsvenskan champions in 2022. That season earned him a move abroad again, this time a three-year contract with Excelsior in the Netherlands. His time there included a loan spell back in Sweden with AIK, though he made only three appearances before returning to Excelsior.
In June 2025, Östers IF made his move back to Sweden permanent, signing him on a contract running to the end of 2027.
At international level, Uddenäs has represented Sweden at every youth age group from U17 upward.
