Sergey Pinyaev

Sergey Pinyaev made his senior debut for Chertanovo Moscow in the FNL on 1 August 2020, at the age of 15, becoming the youngest player in the league's history; he scored his first professional goal, in the Russian Second Division. In July 2021 he moved to Krylia Sovetov Samara, and during the 2021/22 season he scored five goals in a single Russian Championship campaign, breaking a record held by Alan Dzagoev for the youngest player to reach that mark. He was named the season's best young player in the "First Five" awards and was ranked third among the league's Top 33 players for 2022/23.

Pinyaev was capped for Russia on 17 November 2022, against Tajikistan, aged 18 years and 15 days — the youngest debutant in the side's history, taking the record from Igor Akinfeev. The following spring, on 26 March 2023, he scored against Iraq to become the youngest goalscorer in the national team's history as well.

The club had first developed him as a youth player before he left, reportedly for lack of boarding facilities, and they brought him back on 28 December 2022 as part of a deal involving Maksim Glushenkov, signing him to a four-year contract. Lokomotiv extended that deal in September 2024 through to 2028, and Pinyaev went on to win a bronze medal with the club in the 2025/26 Russian Premier League. Earlier in his career, with Chertanovo, he had also become the youngest double-scorer in Russian Cup history, at 16 years and ten months.
