Olutoyosi Tajudeen Olusanya

Olutoyosi Tajudeen Olusanya found his footing in football through local London academies before stepping into the professional game. His breakthrough came early, when he scored on his competitive debut for AFC Wimbledon. That moment remains the clearest memory of his rise through the ranks.

He began his senior career in the English lower leagues, moving between short-term loans and free transfers. The pattern of movement continued as he sought regular playing time. He joined Middlesbrough in August 2021, then moved to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership the following year. During his spell at Paisley, he spent three months on loan at Arbroath. He scored one goal in nine appearances there.

In April 2025, Olusanya signed for the Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo for a six-figure fee. That transfer marked his first move to North America. He was sent out on loan almost immediately, joining Doncaster Rovers before heading to Scotland again. He arrived at Aberdeen on 23 January 2026 on loan from Houston.

At Pittodrie, he has made 16 appearances so far. He has scored two goals in that time. Reports suggest discussions regarding a permanent move after his contract with Houston expires. He wears the number 20 shirt for the Dons.

Olusanya holds dual citizenship, being eligible for both England and Nigeria. He has not yet earned senior international caps for either nation. He has won no major trophies or individual awards during his career.
