About the player
Vladimír Zeman spent years working his way up through Bohemians 1905's own system before the first team took notice. He joined the club's youth ranks in 2010 after starting out at Loko Vltavín, and stayed with the reserve side, Bohemians 1905 B, from 2019 to 2023.
It was in the 2022/23 season that he made himself impossible to ignore: 22 goals in 27 matches made him the top scorer of the Czech Third League's Group A. That form earned him a loan to second-division side FC Silon Táborsko for 2023/24, where he added 24 appearances and four goals in the National League, a spell that showed his scoring touch translated a level up.
Zeman returned to Bohemians 1905 in June 2024 and signed a permanent contract running to June 2027. He made his first-team debut that season and has since scored in the Chance Liga.
Zeman has yet to add international recognition to his progress: he has not featured for the Czech Republic at senior or youth level, and Bohemians 1905 have not won a major trophy during his time at the club. His story so far is one of patient internal development.
