Štadión Rača

A single covered stand runs along one side of the pitch, with the rest of the terraces open to the elements. Štadión Rača sits in the Rača borough of Bratislava. It does not have floodlights, and the grass pitch is the only feature of note.

The stadium opened in 1972 with a friendly against Slovan Bratislava. That original layout has been preserved since, with covered stands added only later. It serves as the home for FK Rača, a local club with a history that stretches back to 1925. The capacity is listed as 4,200, though figures vary between sources. The majority of those spots are for standing supporters, with only a small section of seats available.

The ground is best known for a cup match in 2018, when FK Rača hosted Spartak Trnava. The result was a 9-0 loss, but the occasion was marked by the retirement of the club captain, Peter Polgár. The match drew a record crowd of 2,000 spectators, a significant number for such a modest venue. The stadium has seen other cup ties against teams like AS Trenčín. It is not a venue used for international tournaments, and the surface remains natural grass, unchanged since the days when the club was known as Lokomotíva Rača.
