Nigeria's under-20 women secured a commanding 10-1 victory over New Caledonia in their third group stage match at the 2026 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup on Saturday. The hosts dominated from the opening whistle, scoring their first goal in the 17th minute when R. Kareem converted a penalty. By half-time they had already added three more goals, with R. Adegbemile and J. Akekoromowei finding the net in quick succession.

W. David continued the onslaught in the second half, netting in the 60th minute before R. Kareem completed her brace in the 64th. T. Rafiu added another in the 70th minute, and R. The result leaves Nigeria in second place in their group with four points from three matches, having won one, drawn one and lost one. New Caledonia remain bottom of the table with zero points from three defeats, including a 11-0 loss to Spain and a 5-0 defeat to China earlier in the tournament.
