Lucas Halter

Lucas Halter began in futsal at Show de Bola before moving through the youth ranks at Primavera and a spell at US Triestina Calcio, then joined Athletico Paranaense's academy, where he made his professional debut in 2019. He won the Copa do Brasil and the Campeonato Paranaense that year, added another Paranaense title in 2020, and lifted the Copa Sudamericana, before an Achilles tendon rupture in May 2021 interrupted his progress.

He continued his career on loan at Goiás, where he became a starter and won the Copa Verde in 2023. That form took him to Botafogo in January 2024 for a reported fee of US$2 million, and the move paid off quickly: Botafogo won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and the Copa Libertadores in 2024, although Halter did not feature in the Libertadores final.

A loan to EC Vitória in February 2025 saw him named team captain for the season, and he was picked for the Sofascore Team of the Round after scoring in the 26th round of the Brasileirão. In January 2026, Houston Dynamo signed him permanently from Botafogo for US$1.75 million covering 70% of his economic rights, with Vitória receiving a 10% showcase fee, on a contract running through the 2029/30 season with a club option for 2030/31. He has since been named to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Matchday for Matchday 24 of the 2026 season.

At youth international level, Halter made 15 appearances and scored once for Brazil's under-17 side, though he has not yet earned a senior cap.
