About the player
Nicolás Dubersarsky came through Instituto's youth academy in Córdoba, known as "La Agustina," working his way up from the reserve side to a senior debut in 2023. He signed his first professional contract that January, running through December 2026, and by the 2024 season he was a regular presence in the Instituto midfield, making 23 appearances in the Torneo Betano as the club posted its best finish in the Argentine Primera División since 1987.
In January 2025 Austin FC signed him as part of the club's U22 initiative, paying a reported $3 million — a fee Instituto noted as the second-highest they had ever received for a player, behind only Paulo Dybala's departure in 2012. Dubersarsky took the number 20 shirt in Austin.
He made 33 league appearances for Austin FC, with 14 of them starts, without finding the net in MLS through the middle of last year. In June 2026 he moved on loan to Club Atlético Tigre, taking him back to Argentine football. He has not yet been capped by the Argentina senior national team.
