«Rubro-Celeste»
Femar are back in the second tier of the Campeonato Paraibano, now playing out of Umbuzeiro after settling at the renovated Estádio Municipal Rodrigão, a ground that holds 2,000. It is the latest stop for a club that has rarely stayed put: born in João Pessoa in 2008 as an amateur project built around developing young players, it turned professional in 2014, then shifted its base to Teixeira, on to Sumé, and later Alagoinha, where it played at the Moura Filho stadium before the 2026 move.
That itinerant history shows in the nicknames it has picked up along the way — Águia do Cariri, Águia do Teixeira — alongside Águia, the eagle that serves as its mascot. Day to day, though, it goes by Rubro-Celeste, taken straight from the red and sky blue it wears.
The trophy case belongs to the academy rather than the first team. Femar won the Copa Revelação do Nordeste for Under-14s in 2012, then the Paraíba state Under-15 championship in 2014, but no senior silverware has followed, and none of the youngsters who came through the ranks has gone on to make a name in the professional game. In the lower reaches of the Paraíba pyramid, where it has met sides such as Auto Esporte, Picuiense, Serrano and Sabugy, there is no fixture sharp enough to be called a derby.
Off the pitch, the club runs without an official website, keeping in touch with supporters through Facebook and a Blogspot page instead.
