Al Masry Club Stadium

Port Said, Egypt

Formerly: Port Said Stadium

There is no longer a ground on 23rd July Street in Al Manakh. The concrete stands that once held roughly 18,700 spectators were demolished in 2022, and the site is now a construction zone for a new facility.

On February 1, 2012, during a league match against Al-Ahly, the gates to the away end were locked. Al-Masry had won 3–1, but the celebration spilled into violence when fans entered the pitch and attacked supporters trapped inside. The result was 74 deaths and the suspension of the Egyptian league for two years.

It is being built to hold 22,566 people and will feature a hybrid grass surface rather than the natural turf that covered the old pitch. Al-Masry have nothing to lose in this transition, but they are currently playing elsewhere. The team have spent recent seasons at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia and occasionally at Borg El Arab in Alexandria. The name of the ground has also changed. In 2016, it was renamed from Port Said Stadium to the Al-Masry Club Stadium.
