The Complexe sportif de Fès does not present itself as a conventional football ground. The surface is natural grass, kept in playing condition despite the track surrounding it. The complex sits on Route de Sefrou and was officially opened in 2007, though construction had been underway for over a decade before that. Maghreb de Fès has called the venue home since its inauguration, hosting domestic finals and international friendlies there. Capacity has fluctuated over the years following various renovation phases, including preparations for Morocco's abandoned World Cup bids and more recent work for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. A sell-out crowd of 50,000 was recorded during a 2011 CAF Confederation Cup final, suggesting the ground can hold an audience well beyond its stated limits. Wydad de Fès no longer uses the stadium, having moved to the smaller Stade Hassan II. The site retains its original name and has never carried a sponsor's title.
