Hatikva Neighborhood Stadium

Bnei Yehuda built this on an abandoned plot in 1951, and the club never truly left. They played here until 2004 before moving to Bloomfield Stadium, but after a major renovation last year they are closing in on a deal to return for the 2025–26 season. The job involved tearing down the north stand and installing new LED lighting, which now glares down on the natural grass. The capacity for licensed matches sits around 2,750, though the structure can hold more if the league relaxes the rules. It is not big enough for the national team, but it hosted the State Cup finals in 1989 and 1990, when Bnei Yehuda last won the trophy against Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Today the atmosphere is quieter. The stands are mostly empty, save for a few fans standing near the covered dugout on the sideline. A tall metal tower with a small observation box rises at the far end, looking more like a radio mast than a piece of stadium architecture. The pitch itself is well-kept, though the white lines look slightly faded under the sharp afternoon sun. It is the only proper ground in the quarter, and the local clubs — Hapoel Kfar Shalem and Beitar Tel Aviv — have all passed through its doors over the decades. When the teams come out, the players feel the pressure of the small crowd, but there is nowhere to hide.
