The complex opened its doors in September 2004, but the rink itself did not exist then. It was added later, inaugurated in April 2007. The space measures 60 by 30 meters. The capacity is 640.
The Milenio Panthers are the primary tenant. They are an ice hockey team that competes in the Liga Nacional de Hockey Hielo. The club was founded in 2005, two years before the ice itself was laid. They play their home fixtures here.
