SCA Arena
Timrå, Sweden
Formerly: Timrå Isstadion, Sydkraft Arena, E.ON Arena, NHK Arena, NHC Arena
It is an indoor ice hockey arena. The original building dates back to the mid-1960s.
Inside, the playing surface is natural ice, kept cold by a refrigerated rink system. The attendance record still belongs to the old building, a match against Brynäs IF in 1972 that drew 11,695 fans and saw turnstiles forced open.
The biggest change since the rebuild is the technology overhead. A massive video cube, one of the largest in Europe, hangs above the centre ice. It belongs to the municipality now, and it hosts everything from local figure skating exhibitions to corporate events.
