Stade Hédi-Enneifer
Tunis (Le Bardo), Tunisia
The Stade Hédi-Enneifer sits in the Le Bardo district of Tunis. The project began in the late 1980s when the club president purchased the land. It finally opened in 2011 , ending a long construction period. The stadium was named in his honour upon completion.
Visually, the ground presents a stark, functional aesthetic.
Stade Tunisien moved here in 2011 , leaving behind older venues like the Stade Chedly-Zouiten. It serves as a base for the Tunisian national youth teams , hosting events such as the UNAF U-20 Tournament in 2020, but it does not host major finals or senior international matches, which are reserved for larger stadiums. It is commonly known as the Stade du Bardo , a name rooted in its location rather than its official title.
