Zimní stadion Děčín

The Zimní stadion Děčín is a long, single-storey block with a corrugated metal facade.

Inside, the surface is artificial, a fact that distinguishes the facility from older, open-air rinks that once occupied the same site. The venue was officially opened on 7 November 1983, following the covering of the original outdoor rink, though the larger renovation in 2020 replaced the roof entirely and added a skatepark to the grounds. The capacity of 5,100 has remained stable through these changes. The building is managed by the city and serves as the home for HC Děčín, who have faced high-pressure games here, such as the 2011/12 2. česká hokejová liga Playoff Final against HC Tygři Klášterec nad Ohří.

The club, originally founded as HO SK Podmokly-Děčín on 1 September 1945, has seen its fortunes fluctuate, but the ground remains a central point in the town’s sporting life, hosting everything from local figure skating to the occasional concert.
