Super League (Iran) 2026/27

The Iranian Volleyball Super League stands as the country’s premier professional volleyball competition. Established in 1975 under the name Pasargad Cup, the tournament experienced a hiatus following the 1979 Revolution before resuming in 1990 as the First Division. It adopted its current title in 1997, marking a significant reform in the sport’s structure.

Clubs compete through a double round-robin regular season format. This structural approach ensures that every team plays each opponent twice, creating a rigorous schedule over the campaign. Following the regular matches, the top eight sides advance to a knockout playoff stage comprising quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final. This playoff system determines the champion, while the lowest-ranked teams enter relegation play-outs against clubs from the First Division.
