Kaisar took all three points from their visit to Kostanay, beating Tobil 3-2 in the Premier League's 21st round. The visitors led twice before Tobil's equaliser made things interesting, and the match stayed open until the final whistle.
Kaisar struck first through M. Myakish in the fourth minute, then A. Mukhammed doubled their advantage thirteen minutes later. Tobil responded before the break with a goal from A. Marochkin in the 27th minute, and the half ended level at two apiece.
And here's the thing about the second period — Kaisar went ahead again through Mukhammed in the 48th minute, then Tobil grabbed a penalty of their own. U. Milovanovic converted the spot-kick in the 70th minute to make it 3-2, and the hosts pushed for an equaliser but could not find it.
Tobil had more of the ball, 52 per cent to 48, but Kaisar were sharper in front of goal. The visitors registered seven shots on target against four for the hosts, and their accuracy of 0.47 compared to 0.31 tells you something about where the chances fell.
The result leaves Tobil ninth with 28 points from 23 games, while Kaisar remain 14th on 20 points. Both sides have played the same number of matches, so the gap is now eight points between them in the table.
